It was my first time back training since a few weeks and I feel better just being in the gym. There is a combination of excitement, danger and accomplishment that I've only ever felt while dangling from a trapeze or spinning in an ariel hoop.

I played around in the gym and worked on my handstand and my splits a bit and came home to attempt to figure out how to navigate (deviant art) still no luck.

I started to think about how hard it is to choose a life trying to create art. Being an artist is a lot like being on a trapeze. You get many bumps and bruises along the way if you want to be great at it. You have to be surefooted and steady and know yourself well or you could get really hurt. You have to know what your doing and really trust yourself or you might fall. You have to constantly work on different aspects of yourself and experiment with different possibilities to know what works and to keep in shape. You have to take risks and try things that scare you. You have to get rid of mental blocks and just go for it with as much confidence as you have. It's not really the safest thing to do if you're not totally sure of yourself- but those who love it- who really invest themselves in it and who find themselves needing to do it all the time know how great it feels when they create something that is bigger than themselves(or even come relatively close to it).That’s something hardly anyone else gets to experience.
